Weighted and unweighted

Schoology GPA Calculator

Estimate your GPA from the courses available in Schoology, compare weighted and unweighted results, and use the grading scale that matches your school.

Course percentages are not automatically GPA points

Schoology usually displays percentages or letter grades, while schools convert those results into GPA using their own rules. GradeSync separates the course grade from the GPA scale so students can see how the conversion works instead of treating every school as identical.

Weighted versus unweighted GPA

An unweighted scale generally gives the same maximum points to each course. A weighted scale may add points for honors, Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate, or other advanced courses. GradeSync lets students identify course levels and compare both views.

Use a preset or customize the scale

Letter cutoffs and weighting policies vary. Choose the closest available scale, then adjust custom values when your school publishes a different policy. This is especially important near letter-grade boundaries.

An estimate, not a transcript

Only your school can issue an official GPA. GradeSync's result is a planning estimate based on available grades and the selected scale. GradeSync is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by PowerSchool or Schoology.
