Plan before grades post
Schoology What-If Grade Calculator
Change a score, add a hypothetical assignment, or test a missing grade to understand the possible effect on your Schoology course average.
Start with the gradebook you already have
GradeSync loads the assignments and category structure available in your Schoology course. You can then experiment privately without copying every score into a spreadsheet or changing anything in the real gradebook.
Try more than one outcome
A single prediction rarely answers the whole question. Compare a conservative score, a likely score, and a stretch score to see the range of possible course grades. You can also test whether making up missing work or improving one category would matter more.
Fictional example
A 40-point test
A student with an 88% current grade can compare hypothetical scores such as 30/40, 35/40, and 40/40. GradeSync recalculates each possibility using the course's available grading structure. The example is illustrative; actual results depend on the teacher's Schoology setup.
Targets, finals, and category weights
For a target grade, GradeSync can work backward from the current grade and a final-exam weight. For ordinary assignments, it accounts for weighted categories or total points when that information is available. A projection is a planning estimate, not an official grade.
Nothing is written back
All what-if changes stay inside GradeSync. GradeSync is read-only, independent, and not affiliated with or endorsed by PowerSchool or Schoology. Availability depends on participating Schoology districts.
