What is GradeSync?
GradeSync is a free grade calculator for Schoology. It connects to your Schoology account and shows your grades in a fast, clean interface — with a what-if calculator, weighted and unweighted GPA, class averages, assignment leaderboards, and grade-change alerts.
How do I sign in?
Tap "Continue" on the login screen, search for your school, and sign in with your normal Schoology account. GradeSync uses Schoology's official authorization page, so it never sees your password.
Does GradeSync store my grades?
GradeSync fetches your grades directly from Schoology each time you open the app. Grade snapshots are stored temporarily to power grade-change notifications. We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
What is the leaderboard?
The leaderboard lets you optionally share your grade on a specific assignment so you can see how you compare to classmates. Sharing is always opt-in — you choose which assignments to share, and your grades stay private otherwise.
What are class averages?
On courses and assignments, GradeSync shows the average across classmates who use GradeSync, so you can see how you stack up against the class.
How do push notifications work?
GradeSync can send a push notification or email the moment a grade changes. You can enable or disable notifications per course from the Notifications screen inside the app.
How do I delete my account?
Email support@gradesync.one and we will delete your account and associated data within 7 days.
The app isn't loading my grades. What should I do?
Pull down to refresh on the dashboard. If grades still don't load, sign out from your profile and sign back in. If the issue persists, email us at support@gradesync.one.
GradeSync accesses only your own Schoology data, to display it to you, and is strictly read-only. We never see your password, and nothing is ever changed in Schoology. For full details see the Privacy Policy.
