Schoology Class Averages & Leaderboards
Compare your results with aggregated GradeSync class averages and choose whether to share individual assignment scores on an opt-in leaderboard.
What a GradeSync class average means
A GradeSync average is calculated from compatible grade data contributed by participating GradeSync classmates in the same course context. It is not the official Schoology or teacher-published class average, and it may represent only part of the class.
Assignment sharing stays opt-in
Your individual assignment scores are not automatically placed on a leaderboard. You choose a specific assignment to share, and you can remove that shared score later. Other private grades remain private.

This example is invented to explain the interface. It does not represent a real student, course, school, or GradeSync leaderboard.
Why an average can change
The average may move when classmates join GradeSync, synchronize newer Schoology data, or when assignments are matched more accurately. Small or incomplete groups may not reflect the full classroom distribution.
Privacy comes before comparison
Public GradeSync pages never expose live student names, course membership, Schoology IDs, or scores. The authenticated experience limits comparisons to the relevant class context and uses aggregated data for averages.
Independent from Schoology
GradeSync is an independent, read-only product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by PowerSchool or Schoology. Social features depend on sufficient participating GradeSync users and available course data.
