Getting started

1. Open gradesync.one or the GradeSync iPhone app.
2. Tap Continue and choose a participating Schoology school or district.
3. Authorize GradeSync through the Schoology page provided by the district.
4. Return to GradeSync while courses and available grade details load.

GradeSync does not receive your Schoology password. Integration availability depends on the district.

Courses and assignment details

The dashboard lists available courses and overall grades. Open a course to view grading categories, weights, assignment scores, missing or excused work, and other Schoology details available to your account.

Grade calculations

The grade calculator uses the available course structure. The what-if calculator lets you privately test hypothetical assignment scores. A projection is an estimate and does not change Schoology.

GPA estimates

The GPA calculator compares weighted and unweighted results using the selected scale. School policies vary, so only a school-issued transcript is official.

Class averages and leaderboards

GradeSync class averages use aggregated compatible data from participating GradeSync classmates. Assignment leaderboard sharing is opt-in and removable. These comparisons are not official Schoology averages.

Grade tracking and archived courses

The grade tracker can preserve the last successful course synchronization when a school archives courses. Preserved information remains a snapshot until new active courses or updated data become available.

Notifications

Students can choose email or iPhone push alerts for meaningful grade changes. Timing depends on Schoology updates, GradeSync synchronization, user settings, and provider availability.

Privacy and read-only access

GradeSync cannot modify Schoology. Review the Privacy Policy for stored data, security, first-party measurement, sharing choices, and deletion requests.
